THE HISTORY OF THE DIVISION OF THORACIC SURGERY

The Division of Thoracic Surgery at l’Université de Montreal was established over twenty years ago by a group of surgeons committed to providing the finest in clinical care, education and research in the field of Thoracic Surgery. To achieve its goals, it was necessary to create a proper academic environment and recruit highly trained thoracic surgeons.
